Tweener previews Day 5 of the Ladies Singles and he has bets on Monica Niculescu and Aliaksandra Sasnovich
Timea Bacsinszky v Monica Niculescu
I went against Bacsinszky in the previous round in the first set and even though it was a loser, it felt like an unfortunate loser to me, since her opponent did get the first break in the match and but for a lack of concentration and missing a few simple balls, the 1st set"bet" should have won.
Bacsinszky gradually improved as the match wore on which was expected and predicted. I am following the same theory here especially Niculescu play an awkward style which will be annoying at first for her opponents. They played each other in the 4th round here last year even though Bacsinszky won the match, she lost the first set 6-1. They have played each other 8 times, Niculescu has won 3 of them which bodes well for our chances. The match will be decided by how well Bacsinszky copes with her opponent unusual style. The early slice exchanges should be informative, the low bouncing grass court really ought to favour Romanian.

Annika Beck v Aliaksandra Sasnovich
Sasnovich should be slight favourite for this match in my opinion, because the match is firmly on her racquet. She will decide the outcome of most of the rallies and points. Her defeat of Mladenovic reads very well given how good Mladenovic is on this surface.
Annika Beck is a very solid player but she will have no say on the outcome of this match. Her record on grass is not great, which is no surprise given her small stature; she also plays a counter punching game from the baseline. These type of players tend to struggle as we go deeper into tournament, because the attacking player tend to be "too good" for them.
The potential downside for this bet is Sasnovich can have a day where she misses everything. As mentioned before, these type of players don’t have a Plan B, so the A game needs to be in order for her to achieve victory in this match.
1 point Sasnovich to beat Beck at 17/10 with BetVictor
