US Presidential Election – 5/1 Turnout bet from Roy The Boy

Roy The Boy looks at the US Presidential Election and a turnout of between 62% and 66% looks a good bet at 5/1 with Betfred.

62-66% Looks Like a Viable Turnout

The U.S. Election turnout in recent years has been

2012:  57.5%

2008:  62.3%

2004:  54.2%

But, as Donald Trump trades as short as 7/4 to become the next President and many polls show he is leading the race, these figures could be blitzed as a polarized population use their democratic right to be heard.

Betfred are going 5/1 about the 2016 turnout being between 62-66% and given this is starting to look like a true race – the likes of which we have not seen since 2000 when Al Gore and George Bush dead-heated – that could well be the voting bracket that turns out on November 8th.
