The Messenger has been on a great run and he has a bet on Moolazim at Kempton on Monday.
Kempton 5.05: Moolazim
We have a worthy favourite in Mudallel, going for a course and distance hat-trick, but he has gone up a stone for those two wins and could just be vulnerable to a more unexposed type in Moolazim.
Marco Botti’s string tend as a rule to act best on sand and that looks to be the case for this 3yo who won on racecourse debut at Chelmsford in the spring. He was too green to get involved in a handicap next time at Lingfield, but flew at the finish over 7f to get within 3l of a useful yardstick in Aventinus.
Taken out of two races due to soft ground turf, he proved effective on fast ground at Yarmouth when winning with something to spare. He then did try soft ground but was all at sea on the surface at Doncaster. However he bounced back nicely on the Polytrack at Chelmsford last time again staying on over 7f. He looks sure to improve for the step back up to a mile today.
0.75pts each-way – Moolazim – 5.05 Kempton at 8/1 with William Hill and Paddy Power
