Holly Bush Henry looks a solid Sunday bet at Plumpton

After a brilliant 9/1 with on Saturday with Borocco the Messenger likes Holly Bush Henry on Sunday at Plumpton.

Plumpton 3.50: Holly Bush Henry

A horse classy enough to contest the 2016 Supreme Novices at the Cheltenham Festival, Holly Bush Henry completely lost his way after a shortlived attempt at jumping fences. However he bounced right back to form at Worcester on Monday and can follow up in a similar grade today.

The 6yo was trying almost 3m for the first time and seemed to relish the trip, cruising into contention turning for home and then finding plenty enough for pressure to beat Luccombe Down 3l. He also enjoyed sporting blinkers for the first time and if the headgear has the same effect today he should prove hard to beat.

He does have a 7lb penalty to carry and a huge weight of 12-5, but that still leaves him 13lbs lower than the mark he was on after landing a hat-trick in early 2016 before contesting some valuable Cheltenham novice races.
