Trawler Value for the Springbok

The Cearnsport Springbok, a competition for novice hurdlers, gets underway on Sunday. The competition is no longer for 36 greyhounds; it is now restricted to 24 and ran over three weekends at Central Park (better known as Sittingbourne). The entry is drawn from the top 24 greyhounds based on times set over course and distance since December 1st . No greyhound is eligible if it has won a hurdle race before December 1st .
