Tommy Mc previews the weekend Championship action and he has bets on Brentford to beat Wigan, Bristol City to beat Notts Forest and Preston to beat Aston Villa.
Brentford v Wigan
Brentford made short work of an inform Reading side on Tuesday night when they beat them 4-1 at Griffin Park. The Bee's have made a great start to the season and they are sitting just five points off leaders Huddersfield. The key to Brentford's improvement over the last few seasons has been their home form and so far this year that is proving to be the case again.
Wigan managed a rare win on Tuesday night when they beat Wolves 2-1 at the DW Stadium. The Latic's have had a tough start on their return to the Championship from League One and I think it will be a long, hard season for Gary Caldwell's men as they have no strength in depth and the league has got even more tougher from when they were in it two seasons ago.
Wigan have only managed to take 8 points from the 30 available to them so far and I think this is a fair reflection of the lack of Championship quality they have in their side and I think they will struggle to take anything away from this game. Brentford are unbeaten at Griffin Park so far, taking 13 points from the 15 available to them at home and with 9 goals scored in their last two games there, the signs look ominous for Wigan and I think this will be a comfortable win for Brentford.

Bristol City v Nottingham Forest
Bristol City made it three games unbeaten on Tuesday night when they beat Leeds 1-0 at Ashton Gate. Leeds had been on their best run of the season going into game with three wins on the bounce however the Robin's are going well themselves and have now lifted themselves into the top six as they look to put themselves in the promotion picture.
Nottingham Forest kept up their decent home form on Tuesday night when they drew 1-1 with Fulham at the City Ground. Philippe Montanier's men have been doing well enough at home so far, however it is there away form that is letting them down badly as they have only taken two points from their five games on the road so far.
I think it will be a case of more away day blues for Forest at Ashton Gate on Saturday as they can't seem to get their act together on the road and they are facing a good side in Bristol City. The Robin's are a strong outfit, especially at home and have a rising star in their ranks in the shape of teenage striker Tammy Abraham who is on a season long loan from Chelsea and has scored 11 goals in all competitions so far. I think City have too much attacking strength for Forest with Aaron Wilbraham up front also and I fully expect a home win in this game.

Preston v Aston Villa
Preston fought hard at St Andrews on Tuesday night to come away with a point when their game with Birmingham finished 2-2. This was a good point for Simon Grayson's men as Birmingham are going well and Preston are unbeaten in four out of their last five games in all competitions as they look to improve their league position.
Aston Villa conceded late in the game on Tuesday night when they drew 1-1 with Barnsley at Oakwell. This is frustrating times for Roberto Di Matteo as his side recorded their 7th draw in ten games leaving them just two points shy of the drop zone and I think Villa's owners might soon run out of patience with him after a lot of heavy investment in the squad in the summer.
Although Preston are struggling themselves, all the pressure going into this game will be on Di Matteo and his players and I think that will play into Preston's hands. North End are more than capable of beating any team in this league, especially at Deepdale and they are going through a mini resurgence at the minute so I don't think they will hold any fears against a Villa side who are struggling to get to grips with the rigours of the Championship after their relegation from the Premier League. I fancy Preston to cause an upset in this game on Saturday.
