Rag2gar provides Part 2 of this week's NFL previews with a focus on the matches involving Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Washington Redskins.
Thanksgiving week continues this weekend with another host of NFL fixtures on Sunday and Monday.
The big NFC East game this Sunday is a great opportunity for the New York Giants to take another step towards the playoffs and secure a division that many of their rivals have either lost or threw away threw injury. The fixture list is such that the Giants really have it all to lose now. They've been far from tremendous but fixtures like the Redskins this weekend are ones that you would expect them to win. They have too much talent littered across the field not to have a great chance of claiming a road win here.
Another team I like the look of in week twelve is the Oakland Raiders who travel to the hapless Tennessee Titans this week in a game they really ought to win. Oakland who have been competitive enough this season always seem to be in the hunt in their games going into the last quarter. It's that competitive edge which should be enough to see them overcome a very beatable Titans outfit this week.
Elsewhere it's hard to see anything other than another mauling for the San Francisco 49ers that have become somewhat of a punching bag for teams this season. Not only that but they are facing an extremely powerful Arizona Cardinals outfit who have been flying high of late with wins over Cincinnati and Seattle. Expect them to give the 9ers a pasting here to the tune of at least ten points.
Finally the big AFC match of the week sees the unbeaten New England Patriots travel to Mile High Stadium in search of what will probably be their last big obstacle on the path to an unbeaten season when they take on the Denver Broncos. For the Broncos it's going to be Brock Osweiler calling the plays again this week but after last week's heroics in Chicago few will be overly distraught by that. And besides it's the Denver defence which has been the real star of the show this year ranking second in the NFL. Perhaps this will be antidote to the Patriots perfect season? This is a fascinating match and expect points to be of an absolute premium. If the Broncos defence play as well as they can I can see them winning this one. Home field advantage also. If the Patriots are going to lose any game in the regular season this could well be it.
