Punters have been keen to back the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s forthcoming baby being a girl. The odds on that outcome have plummeted into 4/7 (with Paddy Power) after tennis star Serena Williams seemed to let it slip that her friend Meghan was having “a she”. So, although short, it's probably a fair price.
But Power's 3/1 about the child being named Diana isn’t. It's 12/1 in other firms and for me, even at that price, it's poor value. There's no chance.
I don’t have a firm view on an alternative name but 20/1 on Elizabeth isn't the worst price I've ever seen.
